The Backpacks Program is so thankful to be able to continue helping the children in our district during this time. See what we have been doing
From 3/11/2020 to 5/21/2021,
we have distributed
13,693 bags
provided generous holiday donations of food, toys, & gift cards!
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Santa Monica
La Mousse provides delicious desserts at the Thursday Night Dinners
Culver City Police Department donated toys and came out to hand-deliver toys to children.
During this holiday season:

The Culver City Women's Club generously donated $15 Certificates for each of the 155 special holiday meal bags

Papa John's Pizza on Sepulveda & Washington efficiently delivered 150 hot and fresh pizzas at the holiday distribution

Tasha & Kalia Lowitz and John Cohn distributed 100s of masks
Temple Akiba, under the direction of Sara Fields and the Tikkun Olam (social justice) committee, organized a successful food drive collecting peanut butter, canned tuna, pasta, and canned pasta sauce for the families in the Backpacks program. Your work and contribution is greatly appreciated!
